Qingdao (Tsingtao) may be better known as the countries biggest producer of beer, but it's no less the sailing mecca of China as well. Upon the Olympic Association's declaration that the 2008 Olympics would be held in Beijing,

China bestowed all sailing events on the beach city of Qingdao. The city is promising to be quite exciting in the present to near future and well beyond.

Come have a look at one of China's most dynamic cities.

Attack of the Kimchi

The Germans colonised Qingdao in the 19th century, and had a heavy influence on the city, much to the dismay of the Qing Dynasty.

Today though S.Korea could be said to be taking over! Thousands of S.Koreans have flocked across the pond to set up business and now make up the vast majority of the foreign population.
